If It Goes On a Wall and Has to Stay There
TVs are the day job. The same crew, the same anchors and the same stud finder handle everything else in the house.
Almost everything that gets hung on a wall is hung with whatever hardware came in the box, and that hardware is specified for the easiest wall the manufacturer could imagine. It is why mirrors come off walls, why floating shelves sag, and why curtain rods pull out of the plaster the first winter.
The job is not lifting the thing into place. It is knowing what is behind the surface and choosing a fixing rated for the real load. That is the same skill as hanging a television, which is why we do both.

Shelf Hanging Prices
The one item we get asked about often enough to publish a figure for. Everything else is quoted once we know the weight and the wall. These are the prices for hanging a shelf you already own — if you’d rather we supplied the shelf as well, that’s on the TV wall mounting page, from $199 installed.
Shelf already assembled
You have built it, it is waiting for us when we arrive. This is the cheapest version of the job.

Mirrors, art, gallery walls, curtain rods and commercial work are quoted once we know the weight, the size and what the wall is made of — a photo is usually enough. Every wall in this list turns up regularly across the GTA, and each one takes a different anchor.

What does it cost to hang a floating shelf?
If the shelf is already assembled when we arrive, $60 to hang it. If it needs assembling first, that is $80 on top. If you are having a TV mounted and the wires concealed in the same visit, ask for the combo price, because booking them together always costs less than booking them separately.
Can you hang heavy mirrors and large artwork?
Yes, and that is most of what this service gets booked for. The weight is not usually the problem; the fixing is. We find the structure behind the wall and anchor into it, rather than relying on the hardware in the box, which is almost always specified for the easiest possible wall.
Can you hang things on brick or concrete?
Yes. Brick, solid concrete, stone and tile all need masonry anchors set into solid material rather than into a mortar joint, and the right drill and bit for the surface. We carry all of it as standard. Tile and stone we prefer to see a photo of first, because there is no second attempt on a finished tile wall.
Will you help lay out a gallery wall?
Yes. Spacing and height are the whole job on a multi-piece wall, and it is worth getting right because the holes are permanent. We set the arrangement out and check it with you before anything is drilled. Bring a rough idea and we will make it sit straight.
Do you hang curtain rods and blinds?
Yes. Curtain rods are deceptively easy to get wrong, because the bracket usually lands past the window opening where there is no header to fix into. We find what is actually there and anchor accordingly, so the rod does not pull out the first time the curtains are tugged.
Do you hang things in commercial offices, not just homes?
Yes. Awards walls, signage, whiteboards, acoustic panels and retail fixtures are routine, and we carry $2,000,000 commercial liability insurance with a certificate available if your property manager needs one.
Can this be booked alongside a TV installation?
Yes, and it is the most common way this gets booked. Ask for the combo price when you book the TV and we will quote both together.
